File Converter
Convert JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC/HEIF, and PDF inputs within the documented limits. The selected files are processed in the browser.
How to use
Supported formats
Common conversions include:
- JPG input → PNG or WebP
- PNG input → JPG or WebP
- WebP input → JPG or PNG
- HEIC/HEIF input → JPG or PNG
- PDF pages → JPG or PNG
Each selected file must be 50 MB or smaller. Pixel dimensions, PDF page count, the combined batch size, and available memory can impose lower practical limits.
Batch and browser limits
A batch can contain up to 20 files and 200 MB of input in total. A PDF is limited to 100 pages, and rendered output also has a pixel budget. The generated ZIP is refused if its estimated size is too large. These checks protect the tab from predictable memory exhaustion, but a low-memory phone can still fail below the visible maximum.
JPEG is lossy and does not preserve transparency. PNG preserves transparency but is often larger. WebP can be smaller, but compatibility should be checked in the software where you will use the file. PDF conversion renders pages as images; it does not preserve searchable text, links, forms, layers, or vector editability.
Troubleshooting
If a HEIC file fails, try a current Chromium or Safari browser or export a JPEG from the source device. For a large PDF, convert a smaller page range at 1× scale before increasing resolution. Keep originals until you have opened and inspected every result; metadata and color appearance may not match the source exactly.
Privacy
The selected files are converted in your browser and are not uploaded to an Aiviko processing server. The page still downloads application code and conversion libraries.
